Will Bequests

Q: What are some benefits to me of including IHTAF in my will or living trust?

A: You may be able to provide a larger gift to help the mission of IHTAF than by using resources while alive. Your will bequest has no impact to you while you are alive. Family situations change over the years and it may be appropriate now to update your will to make sure your assets are distributed consistent with your current objectives. Depending on the size of your estate, there may be estate tax savings. There is also the opportunity to be a member of It Happened To Alexa Foundation Gold Society.

Q: How do I include It Happened To Alexa Foundation in my will or living trust?

A: Simply add an amendment to your will or living trust. It's called a codicil. This is suggested language you can review with your attorney:

I give and bequest to It Happened To Alexa Foundation
located in Williamsville, New York _____% of my estate (or you
may state a specific dollar amount or describe real property including location).
